Financial Planning Process

Our process begins with a quick and friendly 15-minute phone call to get to know you and understand your financial needs. During this call, I’ll explain how I can assist you. If I’m a good fit for your needs, we’ll proceed; if not, I’ll guide you in the right direction.

Initial Phone Call

If we decide to move forward, this step involves gathering essential financial information, such as your income, expenses, insurance policies, assets, and debts. We’ll send you a checklist of what’s needed, allowing you to compile this information at your convenience. After you submit your details, we’ll schedule a draft planning meeting within 2-3 days to discuss your vision, values, and goals.

Discovery Profile & Review

Step 3

In this meeting, we’ll dive deeper into your financial situation and future aspirations. We start by clarifying your vision, values, and goals, then assess your current finances to identify gaps. Next, we calculate your Financial Independence Number for retirement and create a tax-efficient investing and spending plan.

Time: 60-90 Minutes

1st Draft Planning Meeting

2nd Draft Planning Meeting

While the first draft planning meeting focuses on your long-term goals, this meeting addresses the “what ifs”—what if life is cut short or an unexpected event occurs? We’ll review:

  • Risk Assessment and Income Protection: Ensuring you and your loved ones are safeguarded.

  • Estate Planning: Preparing for the transfer of your assets in line with your wishes.

Time: 60-90 Minutes

Step 5

This is where we bring everything together. I’ll present your comprehensive financial plan, which includes proven strategies to reduce taxes, grow and protect your wealth, empower you to become your own bank, and ensure you can retire on your terms. Every aspect of the plan is tailored to your vision, values, and goals.

Time: 30-60 Minutes

A goal without a plan is just a dream, and a plan without regular reviews often falls apart. Our biannual reviews are crucial to ensure you stay on track. We’ll assess your progress, make necessary adjustments, and help you navigate any challenges that arise, ensuring you stay on the path to designing your best future, no matter what life throws your way.
